The prototype, CSX2000, has remained in Carroll Shelby's possession since the day he had it delivered to Dean Moon's shop in early 1962, but the first production Cobra - CSX2001, which will appear at next month's Dana Point Concours d'Elegance - has quite the provenance as well.
