I finally got my Chinese-made 8,000 pound rated car lift, from Greg Smith, Inc up in DE. A neighbor & I put it all together and now I can finally see what is under this car. One thing about it, the Chinese guy who wrote the instructions for the lift probably never laid eyes on it. But without this lift, I'd have to dig a hole in the ground to get under this car.
One thing I discovered, I have a 7" drive shaft. I recall reading some recent posts advising to get a drive shaft loop for safety, but I now don't think I'll be needing one.
One other thing I saw, I wonder why they looped the emergency brake cable around the tube frame? This is an FFR.
