It fired right up but only ran for a few seconds because I forgot to turn the fuel pump on.
I tried starting it again with the fuel pump on without success.

Maybe I need a new electric choke.
It is in the full open position. It has 12v going to it. The negative terminal on the choke is hot to the touch. Is this normal? Also I tried adjusting the choke by rotating it but nothing happened. |
There's something wrong with the choke fast idle cam not allowing the choke to close.
If the negative terminal is hot, you have a bad ground.
