AS FOR THIS........"you or one of youre kids happen to get caught for a bit of spirited driving on a lonely country road".....YOU'LL BE DOING IT IN ONE OF THE AREAS WITH THE HIGHEST INCIDENCE INVOLVING SINGLE VEHICLE FATALITIES!!!!
But to date the screwups don't learn and keep damaging and destroying life and property!!!!
And until you are PERSONALLY..... "TOUCHED BY THE ROAD TOLL" ....you'll feel aggrieved by the laws imposed!!!!

The point about the lonely country road is youre not endangering anyone else but yourself and your vehicle. You take the risk.
Im not condoning hooning, im talking about a new harsh law here, when there is already strong laws in place.
Dont tell me, with all your high performance cars, that you have NEVER got a bit excited with your right foot on a public road somewhere, sometime in your driving history.
The new laws wont bother you, you dont live in queensland.
My family has been'' TOUCHED BY THE ROAD TOLL'' my brother in law was killed by a drunk driver, on a valentines day, so dont try and pull that one on
