I've had two Contemporary Cobras and I am amazed at the variation in the two cars. Especially in the front end configuration. The first car appeared to have Type III spindles and axles in that there was a hub, a separate brake rotor that bolted on. The latest car has one piece hub and rotor that is off of a 1972 Chevrolet Caprice or some such. Does anyone else have a front end with a one piece hub and rotor?

I'm also confused about the rear propeller shafts. These seem to be about 1 1/2 inch longer than the other one. The wheels stick farther outboard than they did on the first car. Is there a difference in the length of the rear axle assemblies or do I have something other than an E type setup? This came to light when I had Bob at Vintage build me some wheels. They are cut deeper than they normally would be for a Contemporary according to what he says. So now I'm curious. Has anyone else encountered any conditions like these?
