Yes, KCR called yesterday. Block is split. Everything in it is scrap, so we are replacing with a new Pond block, 4340 steel crank, H beam rods, custom
oil pump, AVIAD pan. $$$
No detail yet on why it split. Still need the builder to call me with his evaluation. Will be a month, probably. Just rolled the car onto the lift and raised it up so I can park the C6 under it. Much cleanup to do in the meantime and misc repairs.
