Thanks - pretty much my conclusion. Looking at Patrick's picture that carb is really up a lot higher than mine are on this old 427 low riser manifold - but I'm using a smooth hood. The expansion tank on mine sits higher than the carbs. I'm a little concerned about the tank but when I measure it according to Bob's illustration in the manual I'm just under his measurement a little (assuming his measurement doesn't include a cap on top). I bought the tank off of an ERA owner so I guess I'll find out when I put the hood on.
