[Dangerous Doug]

I just realized that I never followed up on this thread. I'm sure all will be relieved and elated to hear that instead of "freshening up" my 302 I purchased a Keith Craft 331 street/strip short block---which is currently gracing my engine stand, though tightly wrapped in an engine bag.

I've started procuring parts and will order the heads from KC next month. Plan to install it this next Winter (you know, because the weather here in California is so inclimate).

I'm not sure if I'll sell the 302 or rebuild and keep it (for what, I'm not sure...always had a thing for those early Bronco's...).

Oh, and after crawling around under my Cobra for a bit I confess: I would be hating life if I tried to do an engine "refresh" while it is in the vehicle.
