Rick...just do it, and get the animal model.

We have a 500lb Kirby...swore by that sucker for years. We'd use the whole house plumbed vacuum, and then go over the animal areas with the Kirkby...figuring that got everything. We did the same thing...whole house, then Kirby, and went back over it with the Dysen...sickening how much stuff the Dysen still picked up after the other two passes. Course...that's two labs, 9 cats and a bunny that's let out every now and then. My wife thinks I shed more than all of them combined.
