Hi,

I wrote a big long reply and it disappeared! ARGH!

Basically, the turbos are mounted in a vertical direction for packaging reasons. This meant the oil doesn't drain into the outlet, but into the turbine housing. They were also running a pressure reduction plate, i believe it was 2psi plate. No filter, was going to do this later.

Vertical also has an issue with the turbo compressor outlet and the booster being in the same place. I'm concerned with heat soak into the MC, not impossible but not great.

To mount the turbo horizontally, it would need to be at sump level with the scavenging pump below the lowest point of the sump, and the car. So not great.

Thinking of two M90's or a single M112 superchargers to get me to 400kw.

Nathan
