<sigh>... from the five minute search I did earlier today, I didn't come across brass, copper, or anything else other than steel and nylon. I just happen to have the old style saved for the last 40 years. I take it then you would opt for the 40 year old asbestosy-looking one over the new style nylon or steel, correct? And no, I'm not going to re-do my hoses, although I might consider dispensing with the blue and red. I got rid of them on my remote oil filter because they did bug me.
