Well, almost. The car had been painted a custom color, had new carpets of the wrong type and color, and was reupholstered in a maroon vinyl. The tonneau was done in the same color, and there were obvious signs of dents in the front of the car that were covered with more than a skim coat of bondo. The engine needed rebuilding, as did all the hydraulics, and the wire wheels were badly corroded. But the spider eggs all over the undercarriage were thrown in for free. So it wasn't exactly a virgin. I think the hammer price was a generous gift to the seller.
