Ok Gentlemen:
This solved my problem. After trying to tie my mats with wire ties, screwed to floor, and the Matgards from GG Bailey; nothing worked but the most simple thing.
I was inside as elevator and noticed stainless steel 1" studs all around the ceiling edge of the elevator. Learned that the they were used to hang cushioned mats inside elevators to prevent damaging furniture. A friend gave me 4 of these little suckers got the stainless hardware and fender washers.
Drilled from the top down, put the bolts in with the fender washers attached the pegs and presto stainless steel pegs now hold my mats forever

. Here are the pictures if you need to design something similar. By the way you will need to install the "O" rings to the mats, Lowes sells the gromet rings and installing tool cheap.
I guess sometimes we can't see the forest because of the trees!!
Cheers
