I'm sort of like Bruce. I put a lot of effort into installing a completely hidden radio/stereo in my car. I put the control panel for my Custom Audio unit in the glovebox and the amplifier unit behind panels in the trunk. (It has a wireless RF remote.) I even used an amplified antenna hidden in the trunk. Everything works well, except you just can't hear it on the road, so I listen to it when I'm working on the car or cleaning it!

I probably wouldn't go to the trouble if I were doing it all again. The engine sounds are absolutely enough!
