I does!

Disclaimer: I bought the Cobra as-is...would have done a better job of the install if I had done the work, but for now it is functional and once the car goes up on jackstands for the winter there is a new dashboard and console assembly in its near future!

It is a bit outdated, I admit. The verbal history on the car is that it was assembled in 1994, so no surprise that there is not a CD player.

Even MORE emphatic disclaimer!!!!: This has to be one of the sloppiest installs I've ever seen!

If I am just puttering around town, I *****-foot the car so as not to attract the attention of the ever-vigilant police force, so I can hear the radio just fine. The quality of sound is low, as you can imagine by the speakers, but it is nice to have some tunes now and then.

I will definitely install some sort of sound system when I redo the dash and add the console...like very much the idea of a hidden, remote controled head unit with just a mini-stereo plug-in for an IPod or MP3 player. I also like the idea of a Sirius/XM type radio receiver...however, when on the road there is no hearing the radio b/c of the wind noise and the contributions of the sidepipes, so even if I did have the Sirius/XM subscription it would be a seldom-used feature on the roadster.

Cheers!
