Well, the
oil pump is in with a new Motorcraft filter, and new
oil.
Have 65-70 lbs of pressure when moving and about 50 when idling.
Can't beat those numbers.
Not sure what caused original problem, but all seems OK now.
A friend suggested installing an idiot light for the
oil pressure as a back up.
Guess I'll do that just because.
