Default gauge question

Hi all, I recently purchased a fully assembled FF roadster, '89 5.0 drivetrain. I'm in the process of replacing the fuel tank (long story). Found a new tank and fuel level sending unit online for not too much bread and off I go. But my stewart warner gauge is configured for 30-250 ohm Full/Empty while my new sending unit puts out 160-15 ohm Full/Empty. Range is different and goes wrong direction. Okay, the way I see it, I've got two choices:
1. Purchase the Stewart gauge that uses a 90-0 ohm Full/Empty and live with the associated error but have a gauge that matches all of the others in the dash

2. Buy an Auto Meter gauge that is set up to receive my sending unit signal as is. Will read correctly but other than being round and having a white face, looks nothing like the other gauges in the dash.

Any suggestions? I'm kinda leaning towards #1 for aesthetic concerns. I don't plan on doing any autocross type of driving. Just tooling around on the weekends. If/when I see the needle approach 1/4 tank I fill 'er up. But, the engineer in me wants accuracy so I'm kinda torn.

here are some links to my two gauge choices:
