if you use the late 89 onwards IRS you will have no issues, we run 800hp through them in various forms of motorsport and have no issues mechanical 1.5 and 2 way centres are easy and cheap to source. The gearbox is the same gearset in the legendary GTR skylines and we run 9-10sec 1/4s on them unopened, 2 gear is the weak point with 4wd traction but in 2wd they are generally reliable to 600-650whp.
