I'll have to take a few test readings ( idle, 2K inside the car, ten feet away at cruise when driving by, WOT, etc ) with my dB meter phone app to have an educated idea and a friendly chat when I get pulled over...
I've had loud Harleys and have for years regularly cruised up through the 'Creek with zero problems; I've also used responsible and prudent throttle twisting habits in town.
