I feel your pain. I was with DirectTV and loved them until a neighbor's tree got too big and I couldn't get a signal. I switched to Dish and got a clear signal but from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm every day I got severe pixilation (is that a word?) but I could never get a tech out to the house while it was happening. My internet was a DSL line on Verizon which dropped out whenever it rained hard. Soggy underground copper cable, I think. I put up with this crap until my two year contract with Dish expired and I switched the whole mess over to Cox cable. Problems solved.
