The image appears to be of the Girling slave, correct?

If you have acess to machine shop, incorporating a female Rod end (Heim) joint into the clutch arm makes a sweet setup. It eliminates the ball end on the pushrod. Illustrations are in Carrol Smiths book "Prepare to Win".
