I was near LA, so I stopped at Moon Eyes, Santa Fe Springs, CA to see where the first Cobra was assembled. In Feb 1962,Carroll Shelby used Dean Moon's Speed Shop to first join the AC built chassis with the 260 V8. They are still manufacturing parts using the original machines there. They have a small glass display case with some Cobra items, trophies, etc. It was like a time warp back to the 60's. Jim
