After reading " mrmustangs " history with Cobras I am humbled. I saw my first 289 Street Cobra at Road America in 1966, and the Snake bit me. After driving a Unique 289 FIA ( at 45 years old ) on the Big Track at Willow Springs,Ca I started to research the various builders. Because I waited until I was 67, and have a one car garage,the build from scratch process did not appear logical. That is when I bought my CSX4000 roller. I finished her one year later and now at 70 have 15000, adrenalin pumping, miles under my belt.........Take your time. Do your research, but never lose the dream!!!! I have been back to Big Willow twice now. Even with street tires it is a blast.
