On Roush's standard builds, they typically put the model number and build number on the vc, unless they're finned (don't remember seeing any info on those).
So it might say '427R-116', the 116th build of their small block 427 stroker.
Roush does sell aftermarket vc's, so do your due diligence. Also check as jhv48 said.
Any paperwork from the SPF dealer (they would more than likely be the Roush dealer too). Installer paperwork?
