What are we as a society exposing our kids to? A movie industry that glorifies violence and makes shooting someone OK. We let them play paintball, which makes "killing" someone fun. Kids play airsoft, dressed as if they are going to war, killing their friends with guns that look exactly like assult weapons. Kids in our high school play a game called asassign, running around the neighborhood shooting each other with water guns that look exactly like the real ones. We let them play video games that simulate mass killing of people. And then, when there is a mass shooting, parents sit there and watch the 24/7 coverage, giving the mass killer the glory they crave. Are we as a society this stupid to think all this doesn't affect our children?
