Just an update on this thread...

I used a chip from TI performance that plugs into the back of the Ford AU falcon standard ECU. This chip turns the body control module and immobiliser off, allowing the the engine to start. The AU falcon EFI engine harness is fairly easy to seperate out from the car harness.

I just did all this to my RF GT40 and it starts and runs no worries and is ADR 37/01 compliant motor for rego.
