Yes, I learned the hard way about the "correct" wire order on the driver's side of FEs when Jerry dinged me for twenty points at the last
concours d'elegance. Back in the old days, Ford flipped the wires to help separate plug wires 7 and 8, which had a tendency to cross-fire. Now, I never had a cross-fire wth them in numerical order, but I do have the entire 8 wire order rotated a couple of slots from the original #1 placement, so 7 and 8 don't run along side one another all that much anyway. Truthfully, the Moroso wires are probably just better than the older 60's crap. Here's a shot of the order as specified by Jerry.
