Self tune or auto tune still requires someone to determine what values the ECU needs to aim for, and that's all about drivability. If only it was as easy as filling a target AFR table with 14.7:1 @ idle and 12.5:1 @ WOT, dynos wouldn't exist as a tuning tool.
