I enjoyed Clois' Cobra/goat story. I thought I'd share my own redneck story.

My sister and brother-in-law live in the Ozarks. Now, there may be one or two rednecks in the Ozarks. They ran a general store in a small town. They had a guy helping them out. He'd come into town on a tractor. He didn't have a car and he didn't need a license to drive the tractor. This fellow put in an 8 hour day and 40 hours a week. But he refused to accept any money for it. When I asked why, he said "It would ruin my welfare."
