NOT the only site doing it, others I visit are much more annoying. Any cursor contact opens the link, and everything is locked until the note opens with it's completely disconnected sales pitch.
Best answer - avoid them like the plague. There are some work arounds to prevent them loading if you like writing code, for the casual surfer, not so much.
