Slow day on the forum, thought I would drag this old thread out.
While I am patiently waiting for my cobra to arrive I am reading everything I can on this forum - today it was about live side pipes.
I found some really clever ideas, some really nice engineering and some funny stuff in there as well.
Halfway through - it even got into gun control discussion.
From what I have been told, rules and regulations have changed since this thread was started.
My question is, has anyone in any state, actually legally registered their Cobra with live side pipes in recent times that tick all the boxes, noise, emission, performance, heat shielding and last but not least - looks. Without resorting to tricks and temporary measures, just to get through the test day.
Just curious if it is possible to get the pipes legal, or is it in the too hard basket?
