Only those Bilsteins that were supplied by FFR. FFR went to Bilstein and had shocks made to their specs. The fit and valving was specific for the FFR roadster.

That is correct. The rods were too small, and they were not assembled correctly. Unfortunatly, once there was a big recall from multiple failures, Bilstein backed off and said, "Tuff". They wouldn't stand behind their products. FFR did, though, and replaced every shock on their dollar.
