That has merit. I do think that the non-gloss look of the body base coat on the wheels, with my particular color, is the way to go. I think I'll fashion twelve little wheel spoke inserts, six concave and six convex, that go over the Trigo spokes, base coat them, clear coat them flat, position them in, say, the rear wheel only, then take a side pic for easy comparison. I don't think the brake dust will bother me... but I'll keep it under advisement.
