No, I don't use oven cleaner. I carefully burnish off the coating with my Dremel and a couple of stainless steel brush tools. It comes out very nice; it's just a wee bit tedious. Easier than replacing the lines and/or fittings. I did the oil filter lines a couple of years ago... got tired... and didn't get around to the fuel lines until now. I still have a little more to do around the fuel pressure gauge, but I might take another couple of years off now. I actually like a small splash of color.
