As per my prediction, Billboards did not turn up (no luck) nor has the buggy.
So the weekend was spent tinkering on Cobra and cleaning shed.
I fitted up some lights I bought off Phil, then chased a noise that has developed in the rear end.
The noise was at road speed so I was hoping it was a dragging handbrake shoe or the like, after pulling it all apart, what I found was that the brake pads are falling apart, the material has gone very powdery, not sure if it was the cause of the noise? but they are replaced, rotors scuffed and handbrake shoes sanded. Could not test drive as the rain has started out here (much needed but a pain in the backside).
Then I made a start on the
oil cooler mountings, have decided to set it low and upright. So making brackets etc at the moment and ordering fittings now.
It will sit about 20mm higher than this.
