Well, no, I suppose it doesn't. It was just an observation that the AC logo was and is on the pedals of all Cobras.
That in itself doesn't make a Cobra an AC of course, but just as there's a large Shelby input into every Cobra, there's obviously a large AC input as well and leaving the pedals there indicates that Shelby wasn't that fussed that he would remove that visual connection to his cars' roots (even when there was a major change in production from the CSX2xxx cars to CSX3xxx)
An earlier comment about it depends on which side of the pond you're on or loyal to, is probably accurate. I'm in the middle (literally as well as figuratively!); I wouldn't like to see either one dismissed.
