I've got A/C in my car. The unit is in the trunk where the battery was, behind the seat, between the roll bars. The vents are under the dash pointing out towards the seats. They would be better if they were higher in the dash. It works pretty good even without the bimini top on or the side windows on. Of course it works great with the top and windows
