7.3 diesel good running shape 12 to 18 mpg avg. I avg. 16 mpg with my 20' round/flat nose Haulmark enclosed & the AC inside. don't bother with the extra cost. If you really want to improve mpg. Have a GV under/over drive added to your 7.3 !
