just curious...why do you think you should run a hotter plug than a 45. the 45 is actually hotter than the plug the factory used...BF42 or BF32 for racing
i would think the 46 would be too hot....what does your plug color look like after running them, the backfiring could be a lean condition backfire or too much gap.....might get better luck with a .035 gap
