Glad you all enjoyed it.
Every time Bob and Allen get together, this race always comes up. 50 years later and they still have a laugh over the spin and the nudge Allen gave Bob at the start (00:23), which lead to his tire blowout on the victory lap.
Attached is a photo of Allen telling the story at Pomona last year.
Hope they get together in California in a couple weeks.
