Honestly, the manual is so outdated and archaic in their recommendations, that it is really worthless. The original CMC manual assumes you are using a Mustang 2 as a donor and takes it from there.

If you are having a problem with a specific item, post it in the Scratch Build or Cobra Build Log and it will get answered.
