On my way to a NAPA store tomorrow after talking to a counter guy this afternoon...he has several hoses that the local chain store thought were obsolete numbers...only in their in house computer system. They aren't set up to be too versatile.

The hose I am trying to find, "U262 49602" is a hose that I trimmed quite a bit at both ends from the original...huge element of luck to have seen it hanging on a wall and realizing that the center half may work...and it is about perfect like it was designed for the app.

Did find a hose that is pretty close to being OK, not as good a fit but will probably fit and do the job...before I chop it up, will keep looking maybe the original will turn up.

In the meantime will see if the NAPA store will let me rummage through the hoses in stock and maybe find the same piece or closer than what I have now.

At about $15/20 a hose will think twice before chopping up something that may not work...

Tomorrow I will report on any luck with some new hoses...man, I wish I had the RETAIL PART NUMBER...what a pain this has turned out to be.
