...I should note that a couple of ERA owners that did a lot of track time did convert their pin drive wheels back to 5 bolt so that they could use steel "NASCAR" type wheels. Their logic was that going into the (for example) downhill turn after the front straight at Watkins Glen, they wanted the security of a wheel held on by 5 bolts rather than just one ol' wingnut... and, as I recall, the total unsprung weight was a bit less. But then I defer to the racer types.
