what your seeing in the work on the balancer is what he had to do to make it zero balance.
so you can buy an aftermarket balancer that is zero balance and use that instead of sleaving the old one
you could get the balancer checked to see exactly what it is.....

With the repair I've made I'm pretty confident that the balancer is now in good shape, but having the balancer checked is probably a good idea just so I know where I'm at with respect to the balancing of this motor.
