I have the bumper "hoops" and bumperettes on mine...they have saved me from having body damage quite a few times, not the least of which was the time I applied too much right foot going around a right hand corner and ended up sliding backwards in the ditch into a post on which was mounted a road sign. The "hoop" was $100, but body work would have been MUCH more!
I can't figure out if I like the look of just the quick-jacks or not...they MIGHT provide a bit of protection in a low-speed rear end collision....but the hoops with the bumperettes are a much better bet in that situation.
Oh, yeah....had a probem with the brakes for a while and tapped a car from behind, too...the hoop in the front is bent a bit, but unless you know it you have a hard time finding it. I have a new front hoop, too....just need to take time to put it on.
Cheers!
