If you try and get a local-ish kit, the kit supplier should be able to point you in the right direction to a good one/one familiar with his brand. Or at least familiar with ICV's.

I had a quote from an engineer here for "upwards of 15k, probably closer to 20-25k" :O who wanted to retest a bunch of things that had already passed because he thought some of the wording was not quite right and the certs were done over 10 years ago. Needless to say I'm not using him!

If you can use the engineer that the kit manufacturer originally used, that's probably the best and cheapest bet.

Edit: I'm expecting to pay around 2k for mine to be engineered in QLD
