That is really interesting, and I have never heard of this before. I am using a Dart sportsman block.
I have not had any problems with the lifters. But, I have had the the #1 rocker arm nut come loose more than once - despite a lot of torque and lock tite red. Next time I overhaul the engine (every other year at least) I will be doing this oiling mod.
