My troubleshooting process is this:
  1. Remove air cleaner, look down carburetor, fully open throttle and see if fuel squirts. If so, the problem is not fuel. If not, carburetor is not getting fuel.
  2. Remove the distributor cap and watch rotor while the motor is turned over with the starter. If the rotor does not turn, the problem is with the cam/distributor shaft.
  3. If you are getting fuel and the distributor rotor is turning, the problem is likely lack of spark due to a problem with the iginition system/wiring.
