Front end is your standard double wishbone set up... Like they use in F1... Not impressive at all... Lol. Most of them use a similar set up, it's just how you set them up that makes the difference. Lower the top wishbone mounting point by drilling 2 new holes about 25mm lower and you will pick up a couple of seconds a lap no problems. Get some 'UC' Torana arms with built in caster for some high speed stability.. Also a bigger front sway bar... 27mm ish will do the trick. 2.5 degrees camber ...
Like I said 1:05.6 at Wakefield is the record for a street tyred, street registered Cobra... And it has Torana suspension!
oh the torana front end works fine,i meant i am not impressed at having gm crap in my ford ....yeas i know its justa replica...shoulda heard the language when we had to work out the wireing,find it hard to believe that a holden actually starts and doesnt burn to the ground ....doc
