The Kane County Sheriff, a fellow car-guy, hosts a charity car show every year at the Martin farm on Green Rd., between Rt. 47 and Main St. (just south of Elburn and just north of I-88) that pulls in a few hundred cars. The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow afternoon, so I'm planning on bringing my FFR go-kart (still working on bodywork).

I'd love to have another finished car - especially another FFR - to display next to it, so please let me know if you're interested in joining me. I have a rather large canopy that I'll bring if I know someone is coming (10' x 20') and we can set the cars up in the shade.

The grounds of the farm are beautiful and designed for this event - lots of pavilion space in the shade for relaxing, smooth level grass show fields, good food, prizes, and entertainment.
